Is there anything that would work better component wise, I don't have a set budget, but I'd like to keep it around 1500$

What is your use case? Your build is pretty solid IMO, but get an SSD.

 

I skipped right over the 970 Evo when reading.

PCPartPicker doesn't have the case that I plan on using, but I'm going with the Fractal Design Meshify C

Use case as in gaming,streaming,video eiditng etc. not case case lol

Processor is acuaally an upgrade , for gaming more single core. ANd You definitely do not need the quality or the high wattage of the PSU , as your build consumes around 350W max in a gaming load , everything overclocked to max...
