Hey guys,

somehow my Brother MFC 250C printer is not working anymore.

When I plug it in I hear the windows sound like when I plug in a USB stick but when I want to print a file it does not show up in the printer list.

I tried to install the drivers too but all I get is that it is not recognized in the list when I am in the install menu.

Thank you in advance!

When was it working good ?  Do you have system restore points ? If so go to earlier date when printer worked and you will not lose any data, just thing you have install from the time it was good to now and what not.

Sounds like a driver issue... What OS?

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

It worked like 2 weeks ago, I tried to run it with another laptop but this also does not work ?

Can you use system restore and go back to earlier date when it worked 2 weeks ago.  Nothing will change on your system, except apps you have installed from that time to now that's all.

Nope because I already installed a new version of Windows 10 on this laptop and before there was Windows 7 xD

But it didn't work on Windows 7 either.
