Hello everyone I love learning about all kinds of technology and I have never seen anything on LTT about the NVIDIA Tesla cards and was just wondering about them and what they could be used for.

VDI is a use for some of them.

 

Most don't have display outs, so not a good desktop card.

They can be used for accelerating many applications such as Premiere Pro and Autodesk Maya, but they're specifically designed towards Deep Learning, Physics Simulations and Molecular Modelling which have often hundreds of gigabytes / terabytes of data to crunch through for creating these
