Hi everyone,

I'm about to buy a laptop and I'm looking for advice

The planned usage will be light internet browsing but mainly gaming, weight and battery life isn't really a concern as it will be plugged in when in use (a desktop isn't a option as I could have to move within 12 hours if needed)

What games I'm into is mainly modded minecraft and satisfactory atm, I do like simulation games as well but I figure a system that runs them are out of my price range (£1200)

This is what I'm looking at

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/msi-ge73-nvidia-gtx-1060-16gb-17.3-fhd-120hz-i7-8750h-gaming-laptop-lt-276-ms.html

but I've been told that the GPU will be the bottleneck, any advice or other recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

It shouldn't have much trouble with modded Minecraft or Satisfactory. The 1060 is easily capable of 60FPS+ at ultra at 1080p.

Is the 1660ti better? I've seen a few with and ryzen processors that have the 1660 in for the budget. I'd rather have a 17 inch as that's what I'm used too,
