The cooler is going to boil down to if has the mounts for that socket type and if it will fit in your case.

 

I have that same board and cpu though and it works just fine. I am not having any of the issues some others are having. I use a H100i pro AIO water cooler though. For big air coolers just do some research and make sure it will fit in your case and clear your ram and stuff like that. And make sure it comes with the mounting hardware for an AMD.

 

As for someone saying it won't work it might be an issue with it doesn't come with universal hardware and you have to get different models depending on if you have intel or amd. Or possibly the mounting hardware for AMD sucks and doesn't work very well. With a big cooler I will admit Intels mounting system with 4 screws and a back plate and stuff is much stronger. AMDs two little clip thing set up would concern me a bit if I was going to hand a bunch of weight from it. I don't know anything about that cooler though so I have no idea what kind of hardware it comes with.

Im going to by a Am4 mount for 1€ And I know it will fit with it
