Hey Guys,

So- I have 2 monitors set up at the moment, A Generic 1280x1024 monitor and a 32" Flatscreen.

Now, the only way I can get my PC to use the flatscreen is by unplugging the generic monitor.

And even when I can use the flatscreen, the max resolution it lets me set it to is 1024x768. The TV is a 1360x768 monitor but I can't make the resolution higher. Windows also won't detect my Generic monitor. I have no idea what could be causing this. The only thing that I can think of is that I had to take my graphics card out in order to access the SATA ports when I was installing some new drives yesterday.(before my setup worked fine.)

If you need any more detail, I could probably dig up some. Thanks.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Unfortunately you should try reseating it and making sure that they have the same refresh rates. That might (not sure) cause an issue.

what are you doing with a 780 and a 1360 32 inch TV?

They are both 60Hz. I just tried (literally 2 minutes ago) reinstalling my graphics card. And what do you mean with the last question. Please elaborate.

Apparently it isn't detecting my video card.

It's detecting this:

Card name: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
       Manufacturer: (Standard display types)
          Chip type: NVIDIA
           DAC type: 8 bit
         Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1004&SUBSYS_84691043&REV_A1
     Display Memory: n/a
   Dedicated Memory: n/a
      Shared Memory: n/a
       Current Mode: 1280 x 1024 (32 bit)

Please excuse me while I reinstall my graphics card. Again. *sigh*

Still nothing. It is calling my Graphics card an "adapter".

Well, it sort of is.

What he probably means:

"Why such a powerful graphics card and a crappy set of peripherals?"

No money for good monitors/displays ATM.

Anyways, It is still not detecting it. When I try to run a game it says

"requires a -something- 3 compatible graphics card.

Have you made sure your Windows updates are done? It might be a missing driver for the display.

It works now, my graphics driver was outdated by like 6+ versions. (was using the one on the disk xD)

Classic. Gotta install them drivers before trying to do anything. Old drivers cause lots of headaches
