Looking for a laptop that I can use for some decent gaming but which is simplistic in style

I'm just looking for a laptop in the region of £500 - £900 ish that I can use for games such as PUBG, Wargame Red Dragon, HOI4, Civ 6, and GTA 5 without much lag. Thing is though, I'm looking for one without much flair. I know it sounds like a small problem but I really have no intention of taking a big ass gaming laptop with its jet engine fans around with me. I'm going to be using it for university so...

 

 Something similar in design to a HP Envy without the ridiculous flair of a device like the HP Omen while still packing the power, or thereabouts, of the Omen. Is that possible? Thanks

I had HP Omen 15'6 inch with 8750H and 1060. It wasn't bad at all.

Doesn't look overly weird also.

CPU in Cinebench R15 did 1250 and single core 173 with undervolt.

These should be now cheaper as it's Pascal GPU.

 

I know you asked against this, but in like the ultra book laptop you'll get a very weak GPU like MX250 or MX130 or something like that which is equivalent to GT 1030 and it will cost you as much as this which will push many more frames.

 

You could get a Razer Blade (used one) which looks a bit less ridiculous.

A used Razer Blade is very nice, seems to fit your needs as well.

I know what you're worrying about since I'm also using gaming laptop for school. It comes down to whether you have any particular preference on weight and battery life
