So I have a build with a Ryzen 5 2600, Asus Prime B450M-K and the stock cooler. Should I try overclocking my cpu? I'm not gonna be bending reality, a mild overclock would seem to do good. If so, does someone have a good Ryzen overclocking tutorial, since it's my first build and I haven't over clocked anything except my RAM.

P.S. I have a 2nd gen Ryzen because I built this pc before 3rd gen, and it was too long to wait for Zen 2

Thank you!

It's got uncovered VRMs, you wouldn't get far. XFR 2.0 is likely boosting up your CPU as high as it'll go.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

With the stock cooler I don't recommend OC at all.
I just used the PBO and XFR with my Ryzen 2600 with stock cooler and it reached 90°C.

It's completely your choice if you need the extra performance gained by OC , if it is worth spending a bit money on another board/trying to oc on that board.

If your CPU is the bottleneck in some games then it might be worth it
