It's a bit more, but a killer rig. Is the board amazing? No, but it's a bit better than a 970A-G46 or the B85 Fatal1ty. I would overclock no higher than 4.2GHz.

Hey, there! This is my first topic in these forums! So I am planning to build my first gaming PC cause I'm fed up with my old machine.

Intel i5 4670k 220$

CM 212 EVO 30$

8GB 1600Cl9 BallistixSport 70$

GTX 770 310$

Corsair600WCXMOD 73$

AsrockB86Killer 80$ (overclockable)

WDblue1TB 55$

120GBSSD 70$

CMHAXB 100$

Windows8.1. 90$

Total: 1172$

What do you guys think of my cheap motherboard option? (TekSyndikate made a video of it)

I cannot cheap out anymore to include a 780 because I need my Mobos gaming features and the awesome cooler master case! Thanks for the quick response guys!!!

Interesting. I'd get the 770 from asus or gigabyte. And OMG change that power supply get something from EVGA, or corsair.

Edit: It's slightly more expensive but still totally worth it. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2JQcw

I suggest you change the 1TB HDD to a 2TB HDD, you can never have enough space and it is cheap as hell.

As far as the SSD goes, go for the Samsung 840 EVO 120GB or 250GB :)

 overclock no higher than 4.2GHz.

He could also turn on Turbo boost on the AMD board and get 4.0GHz with it.

WIndows 8/8.1 Retail.

So the case is no problemo cause I can buy it at the end with what it's left. However I checked the motherboard you suggested me and it sucks in features in comparison with the asrock killer , except it has longer lifespan chokes and the z87 chipset (although z87 doesn't give me any interesting features except the OCing which asrock made possible with b85... And the killer is 7$ cheaper than the 41 here.
