Hi guys

I am a digital painter in photoshop and usually i encode in handbrake 3 hour of screen video recording of my process.

I need a very fast cpu for Handbrake and i saw the 3700x would be ok, 3900x is really huge but what about the price?

I made a list you may check and edit. Thanks

You could squeeze the 3900X into that budget if you wanted. The Corsair MP510 is another alternative for the SSD.

Impossible to say how long it would last. Not sure if all boards have the fan running all the time. I guess that will depend on each manufacturer.

If you want a board that doesn't have a fan then I would wait for the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max. Even though the current version has bios flashback, there have been lots of issues updating the bios to work with a 3xxx cpu. Works fine for some people, but not for others.

The MAX version will ship with the correct bios and it has a bigger bios chip as well of 32MB instead of 16MB. Hopefully they should be out soon.

Hmm compared to the Aorus B450 pro it look bad. I mean am i wrong or the Aorus is the winner with a better VRM? Im just a beginner but as i see it has more chunk how u call the rectangles on the top right and also it seems to have a better spaced condenser? Totally hit me if i am wrong here

No the Gigabyte B450 boards are not very good in that respect. I would say that MSI have the best B450 lineup in regards to VRM.

The video below gives you an idea.

I would go for the Crucial MX500 over the BX500. Also you might be able to get a better power supply for similar money depending on pricing in Italy. Have a look at the psu tier list in the psu section for an idea. You can maybe get the Corsair TXM for example over the CXM.

I don't think you need anything special for Photoshop. A lower end card would be more than fine. For gaming though you would want something better like an RTX 2080 for decent framerates at 4K.
