So I have around 350$ bestbuy gift card, Bestbuy has the xfx 5700 xt for 400$.

I was planning on adding a Waterblock.

XFX has a 2 year warranty , not sure why it shows 1 year on the bestbuy website.

Question 1: Is XFX any good with warranty if i remove the stock cooler ?

SInce i know evga allows it, I've also RMA a gigabyte in the past .

I've a gsync monitor but i just dont want to go back to nvidia for now probably till next gen.

I really dont want to watercool the card , but since i do have everything else pump 360+240 Res+ D5 pump etc etc.

Question 2. Arctic acclero xtreme is like the only aftermarket cooler? Its just so eww .

What temp has people be getting with this Cooler ?

Or like everyone else should i just wait for aftermarket cards to come out ? another 2-3 weeks.

Newegg had a gigabyte 5700 xt but they removed the link , it showed "coming soon "

Does anybody know if any of the 5700 xt will have dvi port?

My qnix monitor sadly only works with DVI or a DP to DVI active but only @ 60hz.

Can't you wait another week or two for the aftermarket 5700 XT's? they may be more pricey but if it's like just 30 bucks more for the best cooling possible it's a good deal... it's really the way to go.. maybe if the aftermarket cards are well priced it could even push down the cost of the reference one.

Also the reference 5700 XT does not... while it's possible for an AiB partner to add a DVI-D port, don't expect it to be the norm with aftermarket cards.
