Hacked my AIO.

My 8 year old AIO was showing its age, not being able to cool my shiny (literally, it's lapped) not at all obsolete FX 8320 at 4.2GHz anymore. So I sliced it open and shoved in the used transmission cooler from when my Volvo had an automatic. Used distilled water with a splash of coolant and a dash of water wetter. Spent 30 minutes getting all the bubbles out.

The result is a max of 50c under full load, even better than that time I tried liquid metal. I know it's capable of 5.2ghz stable with ridiculous voltage but I'm gonna aim for 4.8.

All it probably needed to be like new was a few CL of 50/50 tbh but nice improvement

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
