It has a strange kind of ghetto charm light? ?

Just Hope for his sake that the psu does not break completely since old codegen 300w psus are famous for being unreliable

And this particular One has rust and a broken 230v plug

Yes

Since madcatz back in the day were notorious for being unreliable

I Think he views this build as a kind of pc rat rod

I wonder if anyone considered taking a basis cherry mx red based keyboard and Marry it with the controller from a ps2 keyboard in order to have the low latency of ps2 combined with the low latency of cherry mx

?

Most gaming grade mainboards can still use ps2 keyboards

My friend said thanks

He plans to give it a Better psu as soon as he can afford it

Total cost excluding memory was About 1400 Danish krones (About 200 us dollars)

He already had memory Sticks, psu, dvd, case and accessories

He had to abandon manjaro though since it would not work properly with the Vega 8

I can add that the abomination that is that build is surprisingly quiet, Even under heavy load.

The build might get rehoused at Some point

I like its red glow though
