Broken mouse pointer

So last day my mouse pointer changed shape in to 2 purple/red symbols like these + + or [ ]
And i did not do anything to make it broken. The only thing i did was to change my monitor to a pg27uq 4 k monitor from asus.

I have never seen this before and i tryed to reinstall video drivers and mouse drivers

It happens at random times and after i move the pointer around a but then it gets normal again until next time.
Sometimes i cant see the pointer. like it gets invisible.

does the monitor have a feature to do something like draw a crosshair?

 

is it a old windows install? 

 

does it happen only on web browsers?

uninstall the mousse driver, then restart the PC

Didn't hapen to me ut it seems the most logical way to proside

Some gaming monitors have a feature of drawing their own crosshair in games that do not allow crosshairs. I would check monitor settings first.

Yes i can choose a menu that allows me to put in a red or green crosshair or dot but its not activated.

 

I reinstalled windows 10 recently for like 2-3 month ago

 

It looks like it happend in browsers and discord once.

And it mostly happends when i move the pointer to the search bars on ect google.

 

It dosent happend in games

could be a search bar you have installed, check extensions and search bars on your web browsers, uninstall whatever you dont need, recognice or want on the browser

Trying a old gpu driver since others had similar problem with the latest driver and ther pointer being broken to after they exit games
