GTA V won't run on my desktop and my laptop has a mic issue with a website

Zev_7

So i used rabb.it regularly to watch shows with my friends online, but my mic doesn't seem to want to work on the website. Every time i try to turn it on it defaults to "disable mic" and I've allowed permissions for the site to use the mic. (Laptop)

Following specs: i7 8750h, 16b ddr4 2666mhz, gtx 1050 ti max q, and windows 10 1903

My desktop on the other hand has several issues, one issue is that GTA V won't run and the social club program infinitely loads.

Other weird issues are that when i click any keys on my mouse or keyboard when the desktop is off, it turns on the LED lights of both peripherals.

I reinstalled GTA V and tried to launch it, but the same issue popped up.

I connected wired headphones to the laptop but that didn't work either, it wouldn't let me turn on my mic.

Is there a way for me to turn off the power to the USB ports? Don't want the LEDs dying prematurely.

Does your mic work otherwise? Just not on the one site?

What is your desktop build?

LEDs generally have a life expectancy of 50,000 hours so even if they are running 24 hours a day they should last 5+ years

I haven't tried using my mic elsewhere but I think it works elsewhere.

Desktop build: i3 8300, 16gb ddr4 corsair vengeance rgb ram, Windows 10 1903 (unactivated), asus h370-f motherboard, and a gtx 1070

We can't help you with inconclusive information. We need to know for sure if the problem is with the computer or the site.

As for your desktop, the only thing I can tell you right now is to get Windows activated.  Not activating Windows can come with a whole slew of problems (not least of which being legal).

You're right about the issues part, my laptop seems to have less issues than my desktop.

As for the mic thing, it wasn't working on discord either so it has to be the laptop most likely.
