GPU upgrade Ryzen 5 1600

Hi guys

I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 1600 on an Asus Prime B350 Plus motherboard with a TX650M PSU and 8GB RAM which I'm going to upgrade asap. I game on a 1080p 60Hz display which I will probably upgrade to a 1440p 100Hz display in a year or so, and I want to be able to comfortably (high settings 1080p60) use my new GPU for at least 2 years. I was using a 2nd hand 7970 which I sold about a week ago, and got a free HD6870, which was nice but is really not capable of running anything remotely new in terms of games. Right now I'm using a GTX 1070 which my friend gave me for a week because he's on vacation and doesn't need it right now.

The performance increase has really helped me make up my mind to buy something newer and more powerful than my old 7970. My budget is around 200 euros (no more than 250) and I'm comfortable with buying used.

Right now I feel like a used 1070 or vega 56 are the best options. I would like to hear some more advice/options from you guys to help me upgrade. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for your opinions.

I would suggest a used 1070 or even 1070 Ti

Vega 56 and 64 are also pretty good options. Vega 56 is about the same price and actually performs slightly better. but hard to find compared to a 1070. vega 64 is probably out of your price bracket.

 

If you use premiere heavily or anything else that is CUDA accelerated, a gtx 1070 would be much better. But for gaming, I would say a Vega 56 or GTX 1070 will both work very fine

I don't want to run the risk of doing a BIOS mod 

I know you can fix it if it goes wrong but I'd rather get something that I know works ?
