Change SATA port and now my SSD no longer detects

Hey guys, my PC was working fine took it out to clean, had been working fine before decided to change SATA ports on my motherboard for convenience and now when  try to boot into windows it always takes me to the bios and under SSD/HDD information my SSD dosen't show up, any suggestions? Thanks for the time 

 

Specs:

ROG Strix B350-F

Ryzen 5 1600

Samsung 850 evo 256GB

GTX 1050ti

8GB 2666MHZ

Welcome to the forums!

 

Are you sure you plugged it back in correctly with both the Sata data port and the Sata power connector?

If yes, try a different plug on the motherboard.

Try reseating the cable on both ends. Might just be a little loose from when you moved it.
If that doesn't work, try moving it to a different SATA port.

Hey, yeah I'm sure changed port and Sata power cable seems to be plugged in fine havent tried a new cable cause it was working fine before the clean

Remember to quote like I'm doing now when replying to people, otherwise we wont get a notification.

Alright, but replug everything to make sure.

If you can, try a different cable.

Thanks for all your help figured out although my SSD power was plugged in on the one side the other end was slightly off put to the connecting cable to the PSU

That's usually the case! A "sloppy" job if you may.

It happens to the best of us!
