Ryzen 3700X part selection sanity check

Go to solution Solved by Mr.Humble,

I pulled the trigger on the mentioned configuration today, just swapped the RAM for a HyperX 3333 Mhz kit due to unavailability of the Corsair LPX.

Thanks everyone, build log inbound soon.

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for help making sure that my component selection makes sense, and what better place to do that than here!

Spoiler

This loosely follows my previous topic:

I decided to commit to a new PC this year. We're in the endgame now, the reviews are in, and I see my future is with team red.

1. Budget & Location

I'm in Europe, Czech Republic, and my budget should not exceed 1200€. Prices shown in the list are prices available to me at time of writing converted from Czech Crowns to Euros.

2. Aim

1440p Ultrawide gaming

Games:

Spoiler

Current:
Kingdom Come:Deliverance

Witcher 3

TES V: Skyrim

X4: Foundations

(Shadow of the) Tomb Raider

Cities:Skylines

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

X3 Albion Prelude

Metro Last Light

Expected:

TES VI

Cyberpunk 2077

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

GTA

Photo editing in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop

Office work

3. Monitors

One 34" Acer Predator X34P - 3440x1440, 120 Hz, G-sync, IPS Curved Ultrawide

4. Peripherals

All peripherals are already purchased.

5. Why are you upgrading?

My current desktop is now reaching it's 5 year maturity, and I want something quieter, cooler, and more powerful to keep up and take full advantage of my brand spanking new 120 Hz G-sync monitor.

PCPartPicker hasn't listed ASUS X570 boards yet, so imagine the X470-F is actually ASUS STRIX X570-FThe price has been adjusted.

An alternative option for the motherboard is the ASUS PRIME X570-PRO, available for me at 253€

The Kingston SSD is actually supposed to be the Kingston KC2000 1TB, the price is actual:

Also I know the PSU is way overkill, but the current price can't be beat. the RM650x is 5€ cheaper.

What do you think of this part selection? Is it reasonable? Do you know of better options? Is there something I've done wrong? Or would you choose the same?

Thanks everyone who helps!

Does that X470-F have the correct bios on there for Ryzen 3000 or does it have bios flash back? Other than that your build looks great to me! :)

It should support BIOS flashback without CPU, but it's actually a placeholder for a X570-F part ?

Hard to go wrong with any of the X570 boards. They all seem like good pieces of hardwarem would have a look at gigabyte boards as those seem to be the better ones.
