Anyone try to free update to W10 in the last month?

Lucian_Dragos

I have a old rig my 10y\o foster is using till I can build her something new later this year.. However it is still running Win 7 HP but there are some apps she is interested in on the windows store etc that need 10.. So I was wondering if anyone has tried to do the free upgrade recently? The computer was a quick throw together out of what ever I had on hand so it's running a Q9550 with 8Gb DDR3 ram and a GTX680 4Gb, meaning if I can update for free then fine but it's not worth paying for it till the new build

the hardware will support windows 10.

and you could try it for free by not activate it, if the experience is bad, then get rid of it.

using the W7 key activates windows 10.
