Hi all, I live in Thailand and am currently in the process of putting together a new pc, since prices are insane here I'm looking at the used market. I've found a used Asus Strix 1080 ti oc edition for 17500thb (570USD), and am thinking about purchasing it, keep in mind an RTX 2070 costs around 20000thb (650USD). Would this be a good buy considering the price of new hardware around here?

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x

Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix X570F

RAM: 4x8GB HyperX Predator 3200Mhz CL16

GPU: Asus Rog Strix 1080 Ti OC Edition

Storage: 2tb Intel 660P, Kingston UV400 240GB

PSU: 750W Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB

Case: Deepcool Matrexx 70

yes, because prices are hyperinflated (fret, not my friend, its super inflated here also). Plus a 1080ti is more like a 2080, not a 2070 (its equivalent is a 1080). Its definitely a good find, just mind that you need to look for wear & tear issues with 2nd handed cards.

I'm greatly above potato, but I'm getting there...

Sounds like a solid deal

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
