That motherboard isn't going to handle an 8 core very well, I would get the R9 270 instead of the 270X

I own that mainboard, it works but its really not great.. :-(

 

EDIT: Nice deal on the psu, but get an CX600M if you can :-)

What you mean it works great but its really not great? 

i dont like it. the layout is extremely random, it doesnt look that great.. i cant describe it, i wouldnt buy it again  :P

no, dont get me wrong, the components are as good or as bad as other brands, but for 8cores i'd invest a bit more in the motherboard + i dont like it, i tried to say that you should get another board. :-)

It's fine but the 270X is the same chip as the 270, just a higher clock. Also I would get a stronger board, it may have problems with the FX-8350's large TDP, especially if you play to overclock. :)

8+2 power phases, heatsinked, supports 125w tdp. its essentially 970 ud3, just newer and different color. best mobo for the money. the only reason he would want better board is features like crossfire and sli support, connectors, etc...  some 990 mobos are worse than this mobo.
