980TI - Temps high at idle

Just noticed recently that my temps on my 980TI seem to be super high despite there being little to no load. Currently use an NZXT x41 cooler. Any ideas on what might be going on here? Clock speed was at 1139 MHz and dropped down to 135 MHz now...

If it's running that hot under an AIO when it didn't before, then my money would be on the pump died.

I know I'm thinking the same thing...is there a way to verify if the pump is dead?

I might just put the old original air cooler back on it. I don't use this thing for gaming anyways...

Or it could be the shitty CAM software, it's very common for software to report false readings, that's why i always recommend HWInfo, it's almost compatible with everything

Yea I know CAM sucks lol.

then it's either a bad mount or the pump is dead

Put your ear up against the block/pump and see if you hear anything. If you want to make really sure you could always unplug your CPUs pump and turn off all your fans while you do it, so long as it doesn't take you an eternity to actually do so.
