Will it bottleneck?

So I have 3 cpu's (an i3-8350k, i5-8600k, i7-8700k, dont ask why) and i'm planning on getting a gigabyte windforce rtx 2080 (not ti) and I wonder if any if them will be bottlenecked (i'm also going to have them each at 4.5 ghz)

do you know what a bottleneck is? are you asking if the cpu(s) will bottleneck the graphics card or vice versa? at what framerate and resolution do you want to play?

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

I would only pair a 2080 with the 8700K

As would I but I don't think the i5 8600k would be an immense bottleneck considering he is playing games at high-ultra settings. It would be pointless if he was playing a game such as minecraft.

The i3 8350k might bottleneck the 2080ti. Use the i7 8700k.

I totally agree with the above comment.  Lol that POS 8350k will bring down the 2080 and not give you all the FPS it can dish out since the CPU is holding it back.

Just get the 8700k and overclock it to 4.6Ghz minimum and you will not have a bottleneck at all.  Look at my sig ,,,, I max out the nv panel and turn on all AA methods and everything to max and in game settings to max and I get triple digit fps in AAA titles.  I can get 250fps then maybe 150, but it will not drop below 100fps for a split second then back up again.  Also every game is different like CS:GO you will get 350fps but BF you will get 60 to 100fps.  Great video card for a 144hz monitor and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

Depends on use, game, res and expected frames. My 8700k is barley enough for a 1080.
