Hey everybody...Today i have an annoying problem in my 7 year old pc *who knows it may even be older*..here's the specs of it

CPU : Intel Core i2 Duo E6550 2.3 GHz

GPU : Intel Chipset Q35

Ram : 2.0 GB DDR2

Yes i know it is completely garbage...but here's the problem.....when i checked the GPU it says it supports DirectX 11.0...but whenever i get a game that requires DirectX 9.0 *Atleast* it Goes Soooooooo Laggy and Pixelated....i tried downloading Pixel Shader/Swift Shader 3.0 but it was the reason the game goes laggy..and yes i tried it with MANY games.....For Example : Unity Games Goes Pink and Black - Call of Duty 4 - Dark Souls 1..

So here is my Questions :

1.is there is any possible way that i can play games normally? - for example a game booster.

2.is there is a difference between Pixel Shader 3.0 and Swift Shader 3.0?

3.What Happens if i downloaded Pixel/Swift Shader 4.0/5.0? would there be any change?

4.what games do you guys suggest for this pc?

also here's an Screenshot from my PC Specs Check...this is about the GPU..Look at THIS..

also wish me good luck because soon i'll be getting a new Pc it is sooo decent...

Good Night Lads...Thanks for your Time.

Updated drivers?

If yes then that's it, Q35's iGPU is too slow and old for what you're trying to do. It's over 10 years old I think.

GPU only supports DX10 from my reading, but given that it operates on PCI-E 1.1, Intels white sheet markets its power savings heavily before even thinking about performance, and that the next revision of the GMA3100 ended up in early Netbooks I think you're just out of luck.

One thing that may help is upping RAM, if anything at all. Try to hit 4GB, or even 8 if possible.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Jurrunio yeah actually this iGPU is actually so outdated that i tried searching for drivers on intel website itself for that thing but there was no result..

Mention or quote him so he sees your reply. @Jurrunio

That GPU only has XPDMA drivers, which means Windows XP, Vista, and 7 only. WDMA drivers came with Windows 8 and are not backwards compatible, nor is XPDMA forwards compatible.
