Alright in my gaming PC I have 2X8 GB ram 2400mhz is it worth it to upgrade to 3000mhz? Or 2666 or I'm fine?

Do you have an Intel build? Or AMD? If AMD, yes, it's worth it. If it's Intel, it isn't worth it.

If Intel, not really

If Ryzen, its a big difference.

 

Ive ran 2133mhz, then 3200mhz, and now 3600mhz across my R7 1700's.  The difference in gameplay are night and day when it comes to lows, and average FPS.  Higher the frequency the tighter the frames, less dips and better all around average.  Didn't really boost my top end FPS.  OCing my processor did that, and REALLY soared with the 3600mhz ram.

In that case there's no point. RAM speed doesn't really affect performance when using an Intel CPU.

yes but nowhere near as significant as say, CPU or GPU.

For background, the reason faster ram helps with ryzen, is because the infinity fabric rubs the same speed as your ram does.
