Pretty standard pick for high performance, low noise on tight and small cases/builds.

So I am working on my micro build right now but have hit a bit of a wall. I am having trouble finding the right cooling for this CPU (Was hitting high 80s last night with intels crappy stock air cooler that came with the 9400 at ab idle)

I bought an Corsair H60 thinking it would install but noticed that the retention bracket wouldn't fit on the board.

I need some good suggestions on how to cool this CPU

I have

Cooler Master 130 Elite case

Z390M Asrock Mobo

I5 9400

Aesthetics are no problem at all!

Thank you

Would this work with the ASRock > Z390M-ITX/ac ?

You shouldn't be hitting 80c at idle. You are referring to 80c and not 80f, right?

The stock cooler should easily keep temps in check.

How is the retention bracket for the H60 not fitting? It should support the socket.
