s6 e: failed to mount /efs

so i may have done something to the /efs partition because this happens when i boot my phone. 's6 e: failed to maount /efs (invalid argument)'

its is an s6 SM-G920f 

 

anybody know what to do?

I hope you backed up your EFS before that, otherwise you are in heap of trouble.

EFS partition is unique to each device, it includes your IMEI, MAC IDs and such thats why you cant just restore from someone elses backup. I am aware there are methods of restoring IMEI and other variables but I am not familiar with one.

Look in to this, might give you some idea but not sure if it will work with your variant.

odin says 'Complete(write) operation failed' the same thing the efs i tried to flash before said ( it was my backup but didn't work)

kinda, if i flashed a custom rom i could get the phone to boot, but things like bluetooth and actual phone function where fucked. cant remember much else sorry
