990's are good for bass
if u want them to be closed then 770(closed)'/880's (semi-open) are good

another CLosed option worth metionning is the Custom one pros but i dont know if that will satisfy your bass head. it rocks my head plenty but im not a huge bass lover

Wait, what's your "current" headphones? Also, title asks for headphones, but OP asks for headset - please specify, because there is a difference.

Sorry, I mean headphone, accidentally put headset. I am currently using my headset and they just aren't made for music.

As mentioned before, have a look at the DT770/990.

Additional options you can explore are the AKG K550's and the SRH 840

I didn't look everything in detail, but since you have a Xonar you will want something above 100(80) ohms.

also dat cooler, internet hi5.

Error: 410

Well I wanted to know which headset, but since it's a headset I guess it doesn't matter much.  :P

Is portability important? What about Isolation?

V-Moda Crossfade LP's are super bass-heavy, portable, and closed. The DT's @helping keeps recommending are a "fun" V-shaped-FR-graph headphone, but I wouldn't call it a bass-head headphone (lots of bass, but also lots of treble).
