Hard drive to solid state drive in VW Touran 2011 navigational system

Its a random question and I dont really know what thread it should be in.

 

I’ve been thinking for a long time now if it’s possible to open the nav and swap the slow hard drive for an bigger and much better Solid state drive. Would it be as simple as is sounds and just clone the drive to the SSD and pop it in there or would that not work. 

 

(Reason I wanna do this is because it’s a 32Gb mechanical hard drive that is about 8 years old and it’s really slow to boot up when it’s been off for some hours)
