1 gigabit only 100ps

I pay for 1 gigabit home internet but only get around 100-125 on average, my modem and router are compatible with 1 gigabit speeds, what is the bottleneck.

Keep in mind, what you just wrote is the same thing.

 

Big B = Byte, little b = bit. Mb/s = Megabits/s.

 

It's annoying, but when we're dealing with this kind of thing, we should try and be precise.

 

Back to the OP:

@xxWheixx can you post a screenshot of your Speedtest results? Please make sure to black out any IP Addresses that might be yours.
