So i recently just picked up a second razer mechanical keyboard for really cheap and it looks kinda cool on my desk but doesn't really have a purpose. are there any practical uses for a second keyboard for someone like me who basically just browses the internet and plays games. I do think like video and photo editing occasionally but not often enough that i need to go full taran and setup a hundred macros for it.

So does anybody know of a use (even if kinda pointless) thats better than just looking cool on my desk?

You can program the keys of  the second keyboard with softwate AutoHotkey so for example pressing 1 can open a game or apply a filter in photoshop.

You can also sometimes use the software that come with the keyboard to do this. For example, Razer-Synapse, Corsair-ICUE

Ok then you can buy some mini keyboards that exist.Chech a youtuber called RandomFrankP who has reviewed some in his Gadgets less than 50$ series.

uuu i have like, two good and five trash keyboards just laying around. i have not found much use in more than a single fullsize board

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

so no use other than to sit on my desk and look cool? Now im considering setting up one of my monitors to be a dedicated apple ii emulator or something connected to a raspberry pi just so the keyboard has something to do

several reasons, too bored to flip them, one is cool and retro, its nice to have, the garbo boards are too much work to throw away, i can lend them to friends.. stuff like that
