Looking for reputable custom pc boutique

Go to solution Solved by LukeLinusFanFic,

Building is cheaper, more customizable but most importantly, hella more fun.

There may be gaming rigs with hella baller hardpipe tubings and dual RTX Quadro 5 billion badass edition, but do you see that modest, air-cooled, 5 year old tower with a pretty damn awesome red LED fan (that totally didn't cost me 25$)? That one is mine.

Hello to whomever reads, I've been pc gaming for about 3 years now and looking to purchase a totally new rig, have had pretty bad experiences with Alienware and no longer wanting to run intel. I live in Canada and am looking for a custom pc boutique that isn't over priced but still would like something that has extremely good reviews, was looking into Digital storm but like i said ....... Canadian.

Why not build yourself?

I would love to build my own but am still learning to be pc savvy, and my bank (wife) lol thinks that i might screw ot up if i build, then there is the warranty aspect of a pre built (3 year parts and labour) in which i think i might need lol.

PC building is like assembling a LEGO kit. It's difficult to mess up and there're plenty of people online who'll love to help you.

FYI, you get specific part warranties at that or beyond (PSU's can have 10+ year warranties, for example).

Honestly, there are a million build tutorials by folks who cover everything, Bitwit, Paul's Hardware, Tech Deals, Jayz2Cents, even Linus/Verge :)

If you have ANY inkling to try it, it's something you'll kick yourself for not doing it sooner.

Your only fear is of the unknown.  Parts aren't fragile, you really can't static shock the entire PC to death, you can drop most parts on hardwood and they still work (yes, I know), and even keep RAM in your back pocket all day and it'll still work.

If you put in a ceiling fan or change a light fixture, you can build a PC no problem at all.

If you looking for a large number of people to see your parts list, post a PCPartPicker link of your build in "New Builds and Planning".

Be sure to read "Build Plan Thread Recommendations" before posting.
