Need help with my condenser mic on a mixer

Good day to everyone,

 

So I got myself a PRO 41 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphone for me to use in music producing.

now this microphone is connected to my ALTO ZMX 52 Mixer. My mixer is connected to my BEHRINGER-U-CONTROL-UCA222-USB-AUDIO-INTERFACE. now the problem is that my mic is picking up my voice and delivers it to the speakers instead of my External Sound Card. I can't seem to record myself in FL STUDIO 11 since it goes directly to my speakers. is there any explanation in why this is happening? or I'm too blind to find the answer?
