laptop for python programming - autocad 2d only - civil 3d not gamer

laptop for python programming - autocad 2d only - civil 3d ( road &surveying engineering app)

i play football manager only game not need for powerful graphic card

good battery with quick charge is need

autocad not a multi-thread app one/2 core with max frequency better thing more cores not affected
2 or 4 or 6 or 8 core at same frequency are equal advantage more core only on handle operating system and when use some app with autocad at the same time
also no need for powerful vga as i will not go for 3d modelling
also i play only football manager which like autocad need power cpu better than powered gpu

in my country at same price i have

1-lenovo ideapad 330

with i7-8550u it is (less cpu performance 3-5% than i7-8565u)  with vga 4gb NVIDIA mx150 ( 15-20% graphic better than mx130)

hdd 1gb / 8gb ram

but battery is not good it is 2cell a youtube preview say it least 2 hr with a medium usage

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-IdeaPad-1xx-3xx-5xx-7xx/Battery-life-of-lenovo-Ideapad-330s-14IKB/m-p/4274529#M62713

2- hp 15-da1018ne i7-8565u with 4gb NVIDIA mx130 battrey life 12.5hr ( hp site indicate that time but i think not true it is 3cell with 41whr)

better cpu but only 3-5% as turbo go to 4.6 not 4 like i7-8550u

less graphic not a big point as i said

i do not know  if heat and coaling good or not also the material is good or not

3-Dell Inspiron 15-5575 ryzen 5 2500u (apu) vga amd vega 8 integrated card 2gb

ram is 12 gb ( 8 is ok for previous model also ram can upgrade not like cpu or vga can not upgrade)

it is integrated vga

less cpu prformance (17-20%)

less vga also

battery lie 3 cell 42WHr

also not sure of coaling and heat

4-Dell Inspiron  15 3580

 i7-8565u but with AMD Radeon™ 520 2gb

3-Cell 42WHr Battery

https://www.dell.com/za/enterprise/p/inspiron-15-3580-laptop/pd

5- lenovo thinkpad e580 i5-8250u with  2 GB amd mx550

it is best material but low performance cpu than i7 and like amd so i think it is better than the amd

vga is the highest one but also some say battery life is max 4hr

Someone who knows their stuff!

I wouldnt worry too much about max frequency (especially single digit percentage differences), as AutoCad in my experience rarely comes close to pushing my 7700k to utilize a single core to it's fullest potential. I would instead focus mostly on battery life especially if you're going to be using the battery power a lot.

Probably the Lenovo (and switching to the iGPU) as @GeneXiS_X suggested, or the Hp and take the chance on how good the battery life is.

I personally cant find any reviews on that specific laptop model :(

Hp Overall Quality is okay. It varies from laptop to laptop (I've had good build quality and bad ones at similar price points)

I'm not an expert on laptops, I was mostly here for the CAD related stuff.

as i saw in autocad forum civil 3d need 4g vga card for best performance not like autocad but still need high frequency processor it is single thread processor not multiple

Display Card	Minimum: 1 GB GPU with 29 GB/s Bandwidth and DirectX 11 compliant
Recommended: 4 GB GPU with 106 GB/s Bandwidth and DirectX 11 compliant

so which one go for

also a question does i5-8265u with 4g nividia mx130 will better than i7-8550u with AMD Radeon™ 520 2gb as i can not find a model i7-8550u with nividia card in my country

also another question i7-8565u has a better turbo frequency than i5-8300h does it will be good also it is less power

Power consumption will be about the same, however ULV will get power throttled more

Where are you from? Budget? Fine with lower battery life?

Looks like Thinkpad E480/E580 with dGPU is the best choice, however keep in mind that the dGPU will make the laptop runs hot

minimum thinkpad equal 12000 egy pound ( i5-8250u with AMD RX550 2 GB) so go for lenovo 330 ( i5-8300h is better i think)

thinkpad built good but low processor

so what do you think

I looked through all the options, the only decent model is Thinkpad E480/E580 since your budget is low. If there are other decent models I'll state them in my previous post

also there is dell model i7-8565u with AMD Radeon 520M 2gb

i7-8550u with AMD Radeon 520M 2gb ( better in cooling)

dell 5570 i7-8550u with AMD Radeon 530M 4gb
