CPU Temperature hitting nearly 100C

Hey guys,

Anybody have any idea what this could be? I'm trying to rule everything out before I declare that my AIO is dead.

 

The cooler I currently have is a Corsair H80i V2

 

I have re-applied thermal paste multiple times, cleaned the radiator and fans and I'm just not having any luck at all.

 

I have attached screenshots of my case (So that you can see I have sufficient airflow) and I've attached a screenshot of me running valley with temps)

 

Any suggestions? Thanks

Put your finger on the top side of the CPU block and try to feel if its vibrating or if there's waterflow. Sounds like a dead CPU water pump to me.

Holy crap! Prolonged exposure to those kinda temps could do some serious damage! If you have any other coolers laying around, maybe try using that (even if it’s just a stock cooler) to see if it is your AIO that’s dead? If you get lower temps with a stock cooler, your AIO is probably dead.

Just felt the top and definitely don't feel anything, the tubes also feel extremely hot to touch but the radiator is freezing cold and is blowing cold air out

An AIO with that small radiator is in my opinion useless compare to a same price air cooler like a Noctua NH-D15. 

As for the issue, put your finger on the block as @BrinkGG said to feel if the pump is vibrating.....

You pump is probably dead......

Yeah AIO pump is dead.

 

If you're looking for a new cooler, Noctua NH-U12S is amazing and I recommend it over single rad water coolers. Even an NH-D14 if you feel like going a overkill.

Corsair has a 5 year warranty.  How old is that AIO?

Definitely not 5 years old, and I still have the receipt somewhere, I'll probably get a replacement.. but I'll do that after I buy an NH-D15 and just sell the Corsair one, I'm done with AIO coolers for the foreseeable future this is the second I've had problems with.

 

I fiddled around with it and it looks like the 3 pin fan cable that powers the pump has a loose connection, when I moved it into a different position the pump gets power again. Just going to leave it into position until I order the Noctua one in a few days. I've seen only good reviews on the NH-D15 so hopefully it'll serve me better than this one has.
