If you can survive that long while gaming go for it. But I'd do it for more money! You don't get a good GPU for no reason!

It genuinely isn't that bad

 

I agree, I used an old MSI Geforce 8800GT as a "placeholder" until I got my 660Ti, rather than use the iGPU on my 3570k, and it's not all that bad.
