Xfr vs boost? What is difference.

What is difference between xfr and boost on AMD chips??? Does xfr go higher than the boost freq???

xfr is kinda like nvidia gpu boost, it pushes clocks higher when there's headroom to do so

XFR (Extended Frequency Range) and Sense MI allows the CPU to clock higher when there are resources available, like extra cores, or when the CPU is running at cooler temperatures and lower voltages, etc..

PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive) communicates with XFR (like an assistant to help achieve optimal performance) to basically help it sustain higher boosts for longer periods of time by increasing power limits, and increasing frequency by 25MHz increments, when certain conditions are met, like temperatures.. PBO wont/can't do anything if you're CPU is already being limited by XFR..
