Can my motherboard support an AMD CPU?

GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

RAM - 16GB

Motherboard - GIGABYTE Z370P

Case - PHANTEKS ECLIPSE P400

Display(s) - ACER PREDATOR XB241H, DELL  S2716DG

Mouse - ROCCAT KONE XTD, LOGITECH G403

Keyboard - RAZER ORNATA, RAZER BLACKWIDOW X TOURNAMENT

Thank you for your quick reply. I have actually just checked the support for it on the Gigabyte website which confirms that too. Worth an ask, thanks for your help!

We live in a world where GSYNC technology is supported on Freesync monitors so again, thought it worth an ask just in case.
