Case fans

So I have just built my first PC. I used the Cooler Master MB500 Tuf case. When connecting everything to the motherboard, I noticed that the only connectors that the fans had were the rgb (connected to a 3-way splitter) and a connector (molex?) that connects straight to the power supply. I plugged the rgb into the rgb header and connected the fans to the power supply. Now that im in the bios, there N/A for all chassis fans. The fans are running at a constant single speed and the rgb is working just fine. Am i missing something or is that just the way these fans are?

Yes, this would be normal for fans plugged into a PSU.

Any idea how i could connect them to the motherboard? Sorry. As I've said, this is my first build.

There should be a 3 pin connector along the fan wire,in between fan and psu
