Exactly my point, you use that name and increase the price. Tell me, what if there is no 3700 version? What do you want me to base this upon other than they not releasing a 3700 and having the TDP of the 2700 in the 3700x?

You ever heard about the Ryzen 7 1800X???

And compared it to the 1700X??

Its more similar to the 1st gen Ryzen than 2nd gen as there was no 2800X.

I asked you a question, what if there is no 3700 version?  You just showed me a video of Ryzen 3800x comparing against Ryzen 2700x, isn't that exactly my point?

Why should it matter if there is no 3700??

The X only means XFR Capabilitys. The Auto Overclocking capability thing that AMD has.

In this case XFR3.

In the past it also correlated with 95W TDP Products.

With Matisse it doesn't.

But the difference between 3600X and 3700X looks as if there is a place for a 3700, wich might or might not be released at a later point.

The Ryzen 3000 lineup is all but complete!
