What's the budget/country for your whole PC and what do you need it for? Both of those boards are pretty overkill. The ultra just has more gimmicks.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I used the Aorus Ultra with my 9700K and I LOVED the board.. If your budget allows for it and you need the few extra features it may provide, I think it's well worth it's price.. But no, you do NOT need it.. The cheaper Aorus Pro Wifi will probably treat you just as well, without all the bells and whistles..

Then you probably don't even need the 9700K, what software do you need to run? Do you already have the GPU?

Ryzen is going to be plenty fast for all of that stuff and cheaper by a decent margin just as an fyi, here's a price comparison, Ryzen's half the price and still has plenty of performance for rendering and all of that.

The SSD there is one of the fastest. Hence the high price per GB.

I would get the Aorus Pro. Slightly better board, especially because it has ALC1220 instead of ALC892.
