Best ryzen compatible ram.

So what would be considered the best Ram kit to use for for Ryzen 2 gen?(Found out the hard way be using ram that is causing a lot of BSODs).

check out your motherboards qvl list for a compatible ram list. The best ram for ryzen is at or above 3200mhz. Low latency around 14CL also helps but doesn't seem to make as big of an impact as speed for ryzen. They also like memory that uses samsung b-die

Pretty much any new kit from a common brand will work fine. I'd say 2666Mhz is as low as you'd want to go. There starts to be a lot of demising returns beyond that speed for the price increase you start to pay.

Almost any 3000mhz kit or faster should be fine.. I like 3200mhz, personally.

I would say get any G.Skill Flare X kit since those are made specifically for Ryzen. Always check the QVL first to make sure it's compatible. 2nd Gen Ryzen is less picky and because of that, I'm running a kit that's not validated for my board/CPU. It's a G.Skill Trident Z non-RGB 3200MHz kit (the cheaper 2x8GB kit with slower timings). It's what I already had laying around and my Ryzen 7 2700 and Asus ROG Strix X470-F seem to like it just fine. It's still always best that if you are spending money on new RAM, make sure it's on the QVL for your board. I was trying to avoid spending money and got lucky.

If you want arbitrary "this works", then Team Group Delta RGB is what I have in my system.

 

I have a 2666MHz 16GB kit, I have it set to 3000MHz and it is stable as can be. When I get the chance im gonna mess with it and see how much faster it'll go.
