i hope someone can explain to me what is happening. my guess would be that it is filled with gunk. but my temps havent been getting higher. and the current setup is only half a year old

i spent $3500(23,000dkr.) on building my pc and i only play csgo on low settings..

Seems like a leak, maybe something with the O-ring?

i mean would look like that, but i havent had it open, and how can there then come coolant out of the buttom left screw?

Typical EK junk.

Your block is leaking. Likely a o-ring or the screws need tightened.

ek makes some of the best blocks. it their fittings that arent the best

likely a broken O-ring, cracked block or its not tightened enough . This is why you do not by EK.

maybe o-ring yea, other thing is your opinion. but if its just a o-ring that does not explain that it is gunk instead of actual coolant

EK blocks are not top performance and I wouldn't rate the build of my supremacy evo as especially great either. GPU blocks are just copy pasta exactly the same and the acrylic is pretty prone to cracking.

Fittings meanwhile seem perfectly fine to me, have not had any issues with them and I haven't heard any actiual complaints beyond "they are not as good as bits power" which is true for any non bits power fitting.

Anyway I think the block needs to be tightened further, might as well take it apart to check if you are using the right jet plate and insery while you are at it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

hmm i just remember reading a treat on here where they said ek made the best blocks and the fittings were kinda shit. maybe it was about rads. cant remember. ill empty my loop today, but why wouldent it have the right jet plate?

When reading through the instructions for my block they said it shipped with the jet and insert for another socket so I had to swap. Maybe they have changed, maybe not.

Alot of people feel as if they are the best. I never quite got why. There mid range at best. But I had read good things about their rads. I never used one, just the blocks and fittings.

i havent had any problems with them until this. but i mean it could have happened to every company i guess

If a product failing means it’s junk, then every company is junk.

Never had a leak from a product that want my own fault. But some people just suck at building and blame what ever
