it was expected though. Manjaro was better in every single way. 

Antergos was basically a graphical installer for Arch so I wouldn't say that - it still had faster package updates and for most other things there was barely any difference. It just came with fewer customizations out of the box.

Yes, that doesn't mean someone couldn't have a personal preference for Antergos - they also had some extra repos with some stuff that would be in the AUR otherwise, a wiki and a forum. There are plenty of things in the Linux world that seem like unnecessary alternatives but that's part of the beauty of it. After all you could argue there's no need for a graphical Arch installer in the first place - the CLI version does "basically the same thing".

I only hope what free time (or time they put aside for this kind of thing) they do have goes back into, Arch, Manjaro and ARTIX...
