There is never a perfect laptop to be honest and we all know that. So you might as well deal with it. And the newer rtx for the have less of a cooling issue, you don't even need that much gpu power from what you said so fans might kick in less of the time. For the xps you could ait till dell releases this years xps 15 revision

eGPU or wonky with mac os. The MacBook air has a Y series cpu, a 2-core cpu. That can't get your job done

Yeah. But why get a model with more issues compared to the others? Not all models have cooling issue.

And you’re not getting a significant bump in performance compared to the W10 4 core thin and lights. If anything the MacBook outperforms then in things like video editing when it’s FCPX vs Adobe
