You're fine, security holes are found all the time, doesn't mean every one is getting their PC compromised though if you keep good practices.

its called MDS or zombieload or something. Im not too sure what it is but is it a cause for concern

Intel is disabling HT on 7th gen and below. Keep your computer up to date for your own safety, as far as i'm concerned it's only a precautionary measure, it will get worked out eventuality.

You are absolutely not safe from malicious attacks because you have an AMD chip.

 

You are always at risk.

 

There's just assessing your own level of risk management and coming to terms with it.

They aren't even recommending it
