~$1000 gaming laptop

I want to buy a gaming laptop for $1000

Here are my requirements:

10hr battery

15"

thin+light

I would like

a professional appearance

high refresh rate

durability

I realize that is hard to meet with the budget, but I believe I found a good enough candidate

I realize the battery is 8 hours but I think I can get 10 if I change the refresh rate to 60hz.

Is this the best buy? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Acer Predator Helios 300 (for around $999) is the best I could find in the market. Comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics that are brilliant for gaming. The screen size is 15.6" Full HD with 144Hz Refresh Rate. Since it is a gaming laptop you can definitely not expect up to 10 hours battery life but this laptop still manages to provide 7 hours battery life. Weighs moderate ( nearly 5.5 pounds)

I'd rather have a 1660ti tho

Consider changing your battery life requirement, otherwise I can't recommend anything to you

I bought the GA502. It has a 10 hour battery life if you change the screen to 60hz and lower brightness. Highly recommended.

yes, video and web browsing with maximum power saving. It's really a best case but still amazing. Probably closer to 7 hours in real world use. I also wasn't using wifi, I used ethernet. I did have the right speaker blow out though...
