So the lenovo ideapad 330s should be good right?

Yes (for the budget)

RAM and SSD are upgradable. Usually warranty will not void unless you damage something, anyway you need to check with customer support in your country

So, i am going to buy a laptop for engineering. I am doing my IT engineering course in Mumbai and needed a laptop for regular college use. My curriculum deals with Java, Visual Studio, Image Processing, Internet Security, IoT designs, circuit designs and all the stuff related. So i settled on a lenovo one with  a core i5 and integrated graphics and 8 gb ram. My question is that do i need a GPU like any mobile one for my 4 year degree course? I already have a PC at home with a 1050TI and Ryzen 5 1500X.

So, do i need a GPU in my laptop for my course? Will i get by with the integrated graphics?

The ideapad 330s comes with a core i5 8250u with 2gb amd radeon 540. This is the 15inch one. There is a 14 inch one with only the core i5 and igpu for less. So what is the difference between a 14 and a 15 inch one and what should i go for?

What is the difference between the core i5 8250u and the core i5 8265u? I have seen two laptops but could not identify the difference between them
