48GB Ram on ASUS x58 motherboard?

Go to solution Solved by NunoLava1998,

The maximum is 24GB RAM, so no.

Hi guys,

Can anyone confirm that 48GB ram will work on ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution motherboard? or won't?

Current setup

  • Processor - X5675
  • MB - ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution.
  • RAM - 24GB ( 4GB x 6)

Also that platform is incredibly old (~2010); you should upgrade to something like Ryzen (you'll need a new motherboard, new RAM and of course the new CPU)

Ryzen 7 3700X / 16GB RAM / Optane SSD / GTX 1650 / Solus Linux

It is, but there are better things than the 1500X.
