chmod 755 /foldername
chown -R root:root /foldername

As the owner of the folder, only root now can delete files.

yeah but also a good option would be to set up a trash folder, do you know how I can do it?

With SMB Shares you can enable for it to be moved to the users trash bin if you can control the client. You can do snapshots and backups.

Currently I don't know of any way to get them to be moved to a trash bin instead.

as of now I've set up a backup of the main drive and protected the left the backup drive as read only
